This prize is awarded to Seyedvahid VAKILI, Lindsay-Marie ARMSTRONG, Damon A.H. TEAGLE, Stephen TURNOCK & Panos MANIAS for their paper titled Optimising life cycle cost of carbon capture and storage: Insights for shipping CO2 from the Solent region.

  • Best Paper on the Value for the Society Maritime Ecosystem

This prize is awarded to Dong YANG, Lingye ZHANG & Kee-Hung LAI for their paper titled Shipping ecosystem: Concept and policy implications.

  • Best Paper on the Smart Maritime Ecosystem

This prize is awarded to Gabriel FUENTES & Ziaul MUNIM for their paper titled Predicting the Panama canal water times with integrated climate data.

  • Best Paper on Shipping and Logistics

This prize is awarded to Pin Hsuan LU & Dimitrios THEOCHARIS for their paper titled Investigating the relationship between EEXI, CII and VESSEL values in the oil tanker and dry bulk carrier sectors.

This recognition is supported by the IAME flagship journal Maritime Economics & Logistics (MEL).

 

  • Best Paper on Ports

This prize is awarded to Gustavo Andres MARTINEZ TELLO, Gordon WILMSMEIER & Cristyn MEATH for their paper titled Transparency and the role of reporting in energy cosumption and GHG emissions in container terminals.

This recognition is supported by the IAME flagship journal Maritime Policy & Management (MPM).

 

  • Best Paper on the Young Scholar Workshop

This prize is awarded to Zhao-Yu SONG for her paper titled Performance evaluation of major world container ports in the post-pandemic era: The 6th generation ports model with smart ports.

This recognition is supported by the ValenciaPort Chair of Port Economics (Valencia Port Authority and University of Valencia).

Note: IAME wants to mention that there were two runners-up for this prize.
1st runner-up is Sang-Jeong LEE for his paper titled Vessel Weather Routing Subject to Emission Control Area: Reinforcement Learning Appr; 2d runner-up is Veronica SCHULZ for her paper titled Fueling the future: The production of biofuel in the Port of Newcastle to support the circular economy.
